2021 Tournament Results

Hosting anything in the mist of a global pandemic is always a bit challenging, however we were thrilled to have 79 teams participate in our 25th Annual Fish for Freedom Ladies tournament. The weather cooperated even if the “big” fish did not!

There was a total of 283 fish caught, with the largest measuring in at 74.2 caught by our winning team of Janet Esayenko, Chelsey Parkinson and captain Nathan Paradis.

Thank you to all of our participants and we look forward to hosting bigger and better in 2022!

2019 Tournament Results

We had 91 teams brave the conditions on August 17 th for the 24th annual Fish for Freedom event. Although the weather did not cooperate, the women came “dressed for the occasion” and managed to fish through a rather windy day!
There was a total of 214 fish caught, with the largest measuring in at 72.40 centimeters, caught by our winning team of Heather West and Deb Jeffers. Although they don’t count as a tournament fish there were 8 sturgeons caught, the biggest one being approximately 35 lbs.

Conditions were tough this year due to the quality of water in the river. Don’t let that deter you as 2020 is a new season and we are planning for a great 25th Silver Anniversary Annual Fish For Freedom tournament!
